Human Canvas In Your Home

We take pride in the quality and distribution of our pieces. The Human Canvas images are manufactured at Blazing Editions, a world-class art printing and distribution gallery located in CT. Each piece is printed onto aluminum using dye-sublimation, a process which infuses dyes into a sheet of pre-treated aluminum via heat transfer of 350-400 degrees. The pressure and heat solidify into a gas onto the metal sheet creating a permanently infused , scratch resistant, lightweight piece of art. Each piece is displayed in a contemporary float frame made of black mahogany.

Why Dye-Sublimation?

Scratch Resistant

The art is infused beneath the exterior coating making it more durable than traditional printing methods and canvas imaging because it can’t be scratched or peeled off the surface. Once the artwork is completed, no additional acrylic or glass is needed.for protection.

Timeless & Archival

The dye-sublimation process was tested for permanence and durability up to 65+ years by Wilhelm Imaging Research and Rochester Institute of Technology. The aluminum is also produced by 90% recycled aluminum and is 100% recyclable after sublimation.

Modern Finish

After the aluminum is pre-treated for sublimation, it is finalized with a clear semi-gloss finish that is rich in color, vibrant and less-reflective.
